My 2007 RRS has now covered 240,000km with no show stoppers on the horizon. The rear shocks (original) are a bit suss but only noticeable on rough road where the back bounces around a bit - airbags are all OK but still original but at 240,000 might be time to bite the bullet and replace with the shocks - the originals are Delphi struts.

Like wise the wheel bearings are the originals and at the kms probably dont have much longer to go - will be looking at housings with Timkin Bearings. CVs are not making any noise so will leave for the moment.

So normally I would buy my parts from Advanced Factors Uk (have their roll bar bushes and lower control arms to go in with the above work) but shipping these days is really just to much from overseas so looking for local suppliers.

Any recommendations on NSW/Vic suppliers that can provide quality struts and bearings at a reasonable price.

Thanks

Garry

Definitely, you wont find anything close to delivered price in Aus. Timken front bearings are only available as the complete hub, when i checked a few weeks ago you can get them delivered from around $360 each from LR Parts.

Thanks - I will check the prices of the bits I need with them - will also cross reference delivered prices from the UK.

Thanks

LR parts is one of the UK based suppliers, prices are cheaper than Advanced factors and shipping quote was cheaper too.
