Not quite Brisbane, but then again, nor are you.

Not yet used him, but my Range Rover is booked in for next week, after researching amongst friends in the trade.

I reckon he would be. I've been waiting over a month for a slot. Give him a ring.

The D3 is booked in with my LR indie to have box removed on 24/6 and then it goes to Ipswich Automatics for full rebuild including valve body and solenoids.
I have a TC coming from Triumph Rover spares in adelaide. They have them remanufactured with a 3.0L clutch.

Fingers crossed.

Well the D3 is now in for it's surgery, transmission will soon be heading down the road for its overhaul.

Will be with no wheels for about a month I would say.

Who did you settle on to do the transmission, Peter?

Ipswich automatics, another member here gave them a rap so fingers crossed.

I got a modified recon TC from a place in Adelaide, more robust with basically the internals of the 3.0L TC.

Did a couple of jobs on it before it went off, injectors bleed off lines replaced and EGR blanking including the FW patch.
That made the engine a lot more responsive down low.

cheers
Peter
