Hi folks,
This is a reasonably low mileage car. 70k miles.
i don’t use it for short journeys so only gets started once every few weeks.
i was away and it got very rained on to the point that some water leaked into the lhd rear equipment bay and into the spare wheel well.
not too much but it was there.
when I went to drive it I got hdc unavailable and the suspension lowered a bit. Which was also reported. Lights went out on the suspension ajuster too. When I restart I can raise it back up to normal height but as soon as the brick is in motion back come the errors.
i have a cheapie Autel scanner which allows interrogation and code deletion
the info screen is not showing the front wheels moving
various modules are reporting sas comms errors
the sas module itself is reporting correct steering angle with steering wheel movement.
so: I think there might be a can bus error after the sas module in that it is producing the right data but it’s not getting through to the other modules thus creating cascading errors.
nearly all the codes can be reset except the sas.
any thoughts where to go from here ?
Cheers
james
