2.7TDV6 insulator mounting hardware part numbers
Anyone know the part numbers for the two white plugs and the metal clips used for mounting the black insulator mats on either side of the 2.7 TDV6 engine?
The insulator themselves part numbers are LBH500250 (RH side) and LBH500230 (LH side), but I’ve been unable to identify part numbers for the other components.

Can't help with the part numbers but watching with interest. Mine is missing the insulators and all the foam inside the engine cover. I've always wondered how much replacing all that would quieten the engine down.

Edit : Maybe I can. Those clips appear to be on the plastic channels that hold the wiring. Microcat lists that as part number : 1344285 which supersedes to 1362567. Not a lot of detail.

Judging by the picture of the product at https://britcar.com/product.php/124054/5497/right_hand_insulator___discovery_3_from_vin_6a3536 22___range_rover_sport_from_vin_6a916351___discove ry_4_from_vin_a , it would seem that the clips and mounts are included preattached on the insulators.

A very small cable tie does an excellent job also. It’s really just to locate the cover in the correct position.

For the main engine cover there’s good argument to leave it off permanently. It does noticeably reduce noise. Some silver sided insulation from Clark Rubber cut to shape can replace the original.
