G'day guys,
New here, and this forum has been amazing for the little issues popping up.
I have a weird one for you.
Installed an aftermarket head unit with the Aerpro CHLR5C adapter, I had the basic small screen with buttons. It works 95% of the time no issues with the SWC. The issue is that the phone answer/hang up doesn't seem to work, and every now and then the forward/back music buttons only does back, doesn't matter which one you press.
Anyone had this issue?

What year model is yours?
I had a problem with one model of adapter and Cameron at Old Jaguar (highly recommended!) had to fit a different one to resolve. IIRC, the replacement was a PAC Audio one.
Cheers,
Rob

Have you mapped the button functions in the head unit settings ?

Sorry should have mentioned. 2010 D4.
The headunit only maps for a remote steering wheel control, the patch lead supposedly is just plug and play into the headunit ISO lead.

On my D3 i used the aerpro kit with canbus decoder but still needed to map the buttons.

More than likely the SWCs have bad connection behind the Airbag or the Clockspring is starting to degrade.
