Hoping the brains trust can point me in the right direction before I start dropping cash.

My Disco had just come back from a frosty weekend in North Vic, about 600km return, with no apparent issues.
I tried to startup to do a shop run yesterday and I get no ignition.
- The starter is running and turning the engine over.
- I have working spark.
- Battery is sitting at 12.2v ign (as it always has been since I bought last year).
- Seems I have no fuel pressure/pump as when it is in startup the fuel rail valve does not release anything.
- The fuel relay is getting 12v in, but when I bypass I cannot hear the pump.
- The interlock and immobiliser looks to be acting as normal.
- The dash is now reporting check brake pads, which it wasn't when I was running on the weekend.
- I am somewhat confident that the pads are fine, but surely that shouldn't stop ignition?
- All fuses in the engine bay are fine, I cannot get to the passenger seat box as it is parked inside with no access to passenger side.

Is there anything I could be missing before I go about dropping a half full fuel tank to manually test the pump?

Do you have a fuel filter in the line or is there a kink in the line

No kink or blocked filter in the way. The fuel pump was not engaging at all, even with the relay bridged.

I have ended up spending the arvo dropping and draining the tank. A painful process to be sure.

I have found the pump works fine on my 12v bench supply. I did find that the body loom was showing 12v, but would immediately drop to 0.001 when connected to the pump. So I rigged up a bypass to the battery to test the main loom. Sure enough, there is a high resistance negative as the positive from the loom and the negative bypass runs the pump just fine.

Think I will splice out the negative and route it to the body for now, instead on chasing negative up above the diff. I don't have time in the next week or so to do that haha.
