Can anyone confirm how many bits can be connected to bluetooth at once?

I'm no IT technocrat but more of a dinosaur, but I'm reasonably sure I've answered my mobile whilst the GAP Tool is connected to it, and assuming I'm right (always dangerous) can I concurrently connect both of the above, and also say a BT caravan rear view camera?
I happily use Safety Dave for my TPMS, so that's not an issue.

Sounds like your phone that you want to connect to multiple things at once, and this is usually fine for most phones these days.

eg phone connected via Bluetooth to Disco handsfree + GAP Tool + Rear camera + Battery monitor, etc

I think the Disco handsfree can pair with multiple phones, but will only work with one at a time.

The GAP tool plugs into the Disco but doesn't connect to the Disco bluetooth - just your phone/tablet.

Bluetooth 5.0 supports connecting to 7 devices at once, but the available bandwidth will limit how much data can be sent simultaneously. Audio is limited to one device.

So yes you can connect your phone to multiple devices at the same time but it won’t broadcast to all simultaneously. Realistically the phone should be able to handle data connections to 3-4 devices at the same time.
