Ok, hers your opportunity to take the **** outta me. I must have had a blonde moment.
I posted a request in Technical Chatter about lock nuts and up2nogood (http://www.aulro.com/afvb/member.php?u=9250) pointed me to Graeme Cooper Automotive website. I searched said website and found a set of L/nuts for 175 bucks. :o I rang GCA and order them over the phone, pais by C/card and lo n behold they turned up in my post box here in Tassie the day after.:D
I opened the package and was presented with 4 hex head nuts, one "keyed" nut and 2 nut "keys".
Hmmm says Adrian, they have sent we a set of wheel nuts with 1 locking nut. Not happy Jan. I even went up to the shed to get one of the Rangie nuts that came with the wheels to double check. I re read the website listing and was satisfied that I hadn't recieved what I asked for.
Next day I rang Graeme Cooper Automotive and queried them about the suposed lock nut set. Says the nice young man on the other end with a slight sigh of iritation in his voice "if you pull of the hex caps the "keyed" bit is underneath, you have 4 locking nuts, one xtra for your spare and 2 keys" Are u sure I asked, still doubtful. :(
So home I goes Friday night, races in the front door, takes said hex nut down to the W/shop and pops it in the vice gently, I then got the multigrips and pulled the little pressed metal hex cover of and wadda ya know, theres a loking nut. :wasntme: Yippppeeeeeeeeee D'oh
