My car has never done this. I think I've seen other D2s do it, but I could be mistaken. Is there a setting in the BCU for this? It's not a big deal, but I don't hear so well so I wouldn't mind a visual.

I think it's tied in with the immobiliser settings, I disabled the immobiliser on mine and the lights dont flash on locking anymore.

Interesting. I have disabled the immob as well, but I can't remember it ever flashing.

Given I've just got the thing working again maybe I'd be better off letting sleeping indicators lie.

Mine Flash when I lock/unlock.

How do you disable the immobiliser?

You should really check those nanocom guides guys:
1. you can't disable the immobiliser on a D2 only the "passive" immobiliser which prevents it to be started with te wrong key, the main immobiliser is disabled by default only if the alarm is set to "not fitted"
2. the function of the hazards for lock/unlock is in the "alarm/other" BCU settings and has nothing to do with the immobiliser as long as the alarm is not disabled(not fitted):

ยท Hazard option: This setting configures the usage of the hazard lights by the BCU in
respect of alarm usage. Available options are:
~ The hazards do not flash on security system arm disarm or trigger (DISABLED).
~ The hazards flash on security system trigger only (FITTED).
~ The hazards flash on security system arm, disarm and trigger (ALL).

Seconded, although I was not really aware of their existence until yesterday. BBS don't really advertise them, and I have really only gone to that section of the Member's area for the kernel thing and the SD card app. Both of which are useless on a Mac.

Downloaded the whole shebang yesterday. Pretty informative. Thanks again, sf.
