Back from the recce at the SPRINGS 4wd pk.

The night run will start at a area viewable for spectators. This track is a large steep rock formation that should not require recovery of any vehicles. This track is around 600 mtr long with steep climbs, aggessive side angles needing good wheel placement. There is no damage expected here.

From here the next track is a dry gully run, this is a must finish track of some 800 mtrs travelling down this gully there is some very steep desents, the exit of this track has a large loose rock climb, there is some over 20 degree side angles here.

The next set of tracks are gully runs with a short track of severe desents and one steep climb. Recovery is expected.

The next track is a new track due for completion for the nigh run, this track is around 1 klm in length consisting of a severe desent to a gully run the assent is of many rock ledges and deeps holes. Recovery is expected.

Should these tracks be completed within the time limit there are several other new tracks for use.

This run should not return panel damage to any vehicle with good recovery, but this is a G4 so be ready for anything. One water crossing only.

Sunday is a good chance for other members to drive some of the tracks and brush up on some more technical recovery.

This park has a cafe and can supply meals at good prices, please phone them for a menu. example "rump steak and salad $10.50., all day breaky 'BACON EGGS & TOAST" $9.50. PH 46852558 or emial for a menu and prices. thesprings4x4xpark@hotmail,com

Pannel damage wise, since I'll be there I bet I'll come home with some new battle scars    Just that I'm a bit jinxed that way. But you get that and you need to show that your LR isn't a ******* 4WD

hey glen can peoples come if they not yet a member of GCLRO's? hopefully make the meeting on the 7th to see about joining. Was supposed to go to Emu with YOU and ross, etc (people from the last springs trip) but wouldn't mind coming out for a sticky beak, and do Emu later...
