Sailing ship disaster in Fremantle harbor

I am a foundation member of this organization: my name engraved on the honor board in the mess!
There have been many problems with this organization over the years, the most recent involving the trust management.

However, it provides a needed venue for young people to learn new life skills, far beyond sail training.
Going by the photos in the link it appears that the hull may have survived major damage, just all of the rigging carried away. The hull is steel, so hopefully intact. Two watchmen injured, but not life threatening.

One hopes the Maersk Sekou had good insurance! But even if money is forthcoming for repairs without problems, I can see it taking quite some time to get it done. I doubt there will be any sail training this summer.

I assume there was a pilot in charge at the time, so maybe the pilot operator will be looking at their insurance - or will the pilotage rules put the risk entirely on the ship?

One hopes that there is no transmitted damage below decks. That will be expensive, if the case.
