Oh no
my monitor is about to die. It's going red and green and blue the pink now. Look like a new flatscreen could be the go, or maybe a plasma for the wall (Nah she'd kill me)
A projector up onto a wall surface would be nice.
Decisions, decisions

Oh it's back to normal now.

Go for a DELL 20" Flat Screen (or 24" if you can justify it). Crisp as. They are a fantastic screen, and the prices have come down a lot in the last 6 months.

I got a 24" 'cause I work on mine all day every day, and you can have 2 A4 pages open next to each other at 100%.

Mat,

Mine does that all the time. A friend told me its the dry joints in the electronics. Its been doing it for ages and has not died yet...it goes purple usually and then back to normal for a while, then colours again, then normal.
I just mumble to myself and keep my fingers crossed. Have decided not to buy new monitor until the screen is completely unreadable

So you know what it's like to see life through rose tinted glasses as well then!

Sure its not the cable? I always try to eliminate the simple things first, (unless I really WANT a new monitor! :D)

Cheers,

Lionel

Monitor's about 15yrs old. I just keep upgrading the box and keeping the monitor. I think it's the problem.
