discovery 3 air suspension woes

Hi every body have just brought a discovery 3 air suspension pumps up all four corners and holds if i drive down hill in driveway it goes down and pump does not start is it the pump i dont know when suspension does radomly work it will stay up for days untill i drive down hill up ok

Without a good code reader you have little hope of solving but pumps wear out and need service or replacement and you can’t have any leaks. Theres relays and fuses also to be checked. There’s tons of videos on YouTube. What age and kms and service history?

Sounds like you need a good LR independent mechanic to diagnose.

Could be caused by a broken wire or 2 somewhere that is disabling 2 height sensors, but as already mentioned, a code reader capable of reading the suspension ecu faults will be needed. Do you know any other D3/D4/RRS/RR owner who has an IIDtool to read the faults?
