Hey all,

wondered if someone had a PDF body Removal instruction for a D4 that they would like to share?

I have watched hours of YouTube, but I would still like to have a step by step in front of me while I tackle the job.

Thanks in advance!!

Awesome!!

Thank you so much, this was exactly what I was after.

I do have a manual in a cart somewhere, will need to actually buy it. Then find a computer with a CD ROM..

Cheers again, I owe you a beer when I see you!

If you have a hoist, a body off is a great way to go through everything….

Great time to do:
Crossover
Timing and fuel belts
Hoses and fittings
Clean everything!

So yes, currently its under the big blue shed as I cant fit the girl in my carport. I have managed to get permission from work to throw it on the hoist, but it means I need to prepare as much as I can before hand so it spends the minimum taking up space, and Il need to take leave to get it sorted.

Long story short - I did the timing belts at the beginning of the year, but I did it at work during work time with the trainees - essentially got paid to fix my own car - but too many cooks got involved and I lost control of the job. The timing belt tensioner bolt was done up, then removed and done up again; then some two months later while decending the South Eastern Freeway into Adelaide with a caravan on the back - the bolt left the party and took the tensioner, belt, cam followers and a few valves with it.

Quite messy - photo will come..

Anyway, need to get the job done, update when I can!

Leaving the timing belt to age and break naturally is looking like a good option

A great time saver would be to remove all the wheel liners and wheel arches and rear bumper at home prior
