Aftermarket Tacho for non-ECU Diesel

Running cables along 10 meters of bus is just silly..

I get bluetooth fine from the rear tyredogs.

From what I read, there are ones that run off the alternator, off the injector lines, off stuck on magnets.
But they still all require wires run to the front of the bus...

Any Ideas?

use a rassberry or audrino to pick up a pulse counter use a chromecast and a monitor up the front of the bus to get the info.

but that seems like a lot of effort for not a lot of gain.
