Does anyone have a wiring diagram for a 2010 facelift range rover sport 3.6tdv8 with 6 speed auto gearbox? Or could anyone tell me what each wire does on the round gearbox connector specifically? In the middle of a conversion and need to decipher the wiring loom and adapt it but can't find any diagrams for the 2010 l320

Purchase Dave's RRS 2005-2012 workshop manual from the forum shop. It has the wiring diagrams.

Hi all
I have drawings for the L320 and need the diagrams for the rear height sensor. The sensor on the truck has 6 wires but all the drawings I have show only 3. A bit confused unless the other 3 wires are split out on another drawing. Any help would be great
Thanks Tan

6-wire height sensors are for when CVDs are fitted.
CVDs have an electrical connector plugged into the top of the shocks.

Thanks Graeme this is the first time I have seen this diagram I have lots of drawings that show 3 wires only and must relate to non variable damping.
I have a RH sensor fault that I am planning to replace tomorrow Friday to hopefully rectify a variable dynamic suspension fault on the main dashboard. I wanted the drawing just incase it is something to do with the coupler or the loom at the rear. Many thanks will report back

I found it interesting that they didnt just share the same sensor output for both systems (height and ride) maybe its just spliced internally but that seems like not a good enough reason to have 2 part types, so im guessing they have 2 sensors inside so that the 2 systems are completely independent/isolated...

CVDs were added near the end of the L320 and L322 model runs. The L405 and all other new models have the CVD and suspension ecus in the same container so the one set of signals from 3-wire sensors can easily be shared. The 2-track sensors were used for a very limited time.

Update. Had to cut the old sensor off with a small angle grinder it just about fits as the torx had seized. Changed the sensor cleared the variable dynamic fault calibrated and all is good. Luckily the plug came apart and the wiring although not sheathed was good so taped them up and hopefully that is sorted
