I've been dismantling a 1959 Fiat 500 I picked up as a restoration project; the headlamp reflectors are in poor condition. Many years ago I had a pair of Super Oscars re-silvered by a lighting manufacturer who is no longer there. Does anyone know of any business who still does this, or other techniques to re-finish the reflectors?

A quick google comes up with this company
Vacuum Metallising – Hyqual Australia (https://hyqual.com/vacuum-metallising/)

Not re-silvering as such.

Thanks Colin- the metallising mob even list car headlights amongst the stuff they do. I'll get in touch.
I read the aussiefrog forum posts, some pretty poor results from a lot of the makeshift methods people have attempted.

Arent they just a std 7" ?

I don't think they would be that big, 5 3/4" maybe.
But it is Italian, and that's enough to make me rejoice about my Lucas electrics 😇

Both 7" and 5 3/4" are available as H4 halogen or LED inserts.

My memory is a little hazy, but it says that that vintage Fiat 500 had unique size lights. I think smaller than 5 3/4". But not the size of early 80" Landrovers, and different fittings.

I'd be surprised if the little Bambino's headlights were bigger than 5".

They're 130mm or 5 1/4"
