Perentie 6x6 rear body

Hi. I’m trying to find a body for a project. It’s the one in the picture (taken from remrl) attached. Perhaps somebody here can help. No need for the vehicle, just the body. Sydney area preferred due to logistics. Thanks a lot.

Perhaps try KLR Automotive, they are Perentie specialists. They may know of one.

(Your 1984 County been re-engined with a Td5? Mine had a V8.)

Thanks, I’ve been in contact with them. No success yet, however nice service otherwise.

Yes, county of mine went to Saudi-Arabia as new with V8 powertrain. Slightly more than a decade ago we swapped a 2004 Td5 whole powertrain in. It is a nice vehicle.

I may be misremembering, but I seem to remember that following several fatal accidents, the army scrapped that body style some years before the perenties started to be sold off. If I am correct it is likely that most if not all bodies like this were scrapped and destroyed when the vehicles were converted to other bodies.

Interesting. There still seems to be some available every now and then. Pretty obvious that bad things will happen for passengers in the rear😬.
