Apologies if this has been covered, but if not, does anyone have any experience with an aluminium replacement transmission pan? I imagine it should assist with transmission fluid cooling as aluminium dissipates heat rather better than plastic. I have recently serviced my transmission, and note that the replacement, supposedly genuine ZF pan, did not have the magnets adjacent to the filter inlet.
