My daughter sent these today. She had an early start getting her pony ready for an event. One of them shows her work light on the back of her 300tdi being put to good effect.

Ah, the plaited mane !

The exasperation, the tears, the lost bands, the sore fingers , the cold early mornings , and then the delights of another wonderful day with daughter.and horse.

She could go out and buy a box of rosettes yet it means more to win one! She does put a lot of effort into the horsey thing.

A blue rosette in Oz means first place. Is it the same there?

I believe the etiquette for equestrian events is, from first down, Orange, Red, White and Blue.

I'll ask my wife, she's into horsing around (and an ex-rider).

The pony hit 30 years of age on New Years Day.

The folk in your fair land must be honest Spudfan.
We have bought, stolen, acquired, gifted, given, swapped quite a few ponies and horses , and none where older than 19.

Come to think of it ,not many younger.

By the by, in the Antipodes, the equine birthday is 1st August. ( I think 🤔)

She takes good care of him. My daughter is 31 years of age and her 90 300 tdi is 25 years old.
