Hi guys just want to wish every one here a great Christmas and New Year. I have my son Brendon arriving from Japan this Friday 20th for Christmas.
It will be a bitter sweet for him, as the last time he was here was in 2022 when Mario passed away. He goes back on the 3rd Jan. He wants to catch up with his friends here and spend a little bit of time with me.
Hope every one has a great time with family and friends. If traveling take extra care on the roads. Heather

Thankyou Heather, I haven't had time to think about Christmas yet.

Thankyou Heather, I haven't had time to think about Christmas yet.

I have been busy cleaning his room from top to bottom as it hasn't had a good clean from when he left to live over there 6 years ago.
Next week I will be busy with my 2 boys, so l though I would put it up this week.

It is good that you won't be alone for Christmas, Heather.

Best wishes to you.

Heather,

Christmas greetings to you and all the rest on AULRO.

After arriving back in the country less than a fortnight ago, I am in a mad rush getting ready for Christmas, which will be in Yass, before returning here probably on 27th.

Hi guys I hope everyone had a good Christmas, I had my 2 sons here for Christmas dinner. Brendon has been busy catching up with his friends. He leaves of Friday 3rd, I don't know when I will see him again as he is going to start a new job in April in Nagano working for the tourist board. He is looking forward to it as it is closer to the snow fields as he snowboards. It might be another 3 years before I see him again. But as long as he is happy with what he is doing that is all Mario and I wanted for our sons. Have a great new year. Heather

I'll be happy when Christmas is over. Between O/S rellies visiting in November and Christmas, I haven't been home for over a month. Not really complaining, but it will be good to get home in the New Year.

Aaah. That explains your 'Weather Comment' of yesterday.

Have a good New Year, all.

I also hope everyone had a great Christmas and will have a great year. Although I view Xmas as a traditional holiday and not a Christian one, as it stems from the festival of Saturnalia, and helps to hide the real gospel message.

Best Wishes,
RL

Well Brendon has flown out at 10.30pm tonight heading home via Shanghai with a 4hr lay over then home to Japan. It was nice to have him home and very hard to say good bye to him today. He had a good time catching up with his friends and me. I wont see him for another 2 or 3 years as he is going to be starting a new job in Nagano in a few months. It was nice to have Christmas with my boys and Kristopher's partner Bronte. It was just a small Christmas, and we talked about Mario and the silly things he use to do or say, you really have to love those dad's jokes he came up with.
Hope everyone had a great time with family and friends, and all the best for the new year. Heather
