We had another storm recently, storm Darragh. The shed where my daughter keeps her pony lost most of the roof. Luckily it all flew up so the pony inside was not hurt. What he made of the noise is another question. She just has the use of some of it.

Bloody Hell! The poor pony would have been pretty spooked, I would think. Lucky to not get hit by flying corro, too, by the look of that.
We had a bit of a storm at home, yesterday arvo. No wind like you, Spudfan, but received 70mm of rain in 20 minutes, ending up with nearly 90mm total, in under an hour.

We had a bit of a storm out here on Sunday too, the weather started out really hot so my brother came with for a drive in the countryside luckily he did, as it rained on the last dirt road back and when we turned on to the main tar road it was even worse as a Y shaped tree trunk/branch around a foot in diameter, had fallen on the road in the storm, so he jumped out and managed to flip it out of the road after I had driven over it, not being able to slow down enough in the dark, which broke it up a bit making it easier. A couple of country women in a Land Cruiser stopped as they saw our hazard lights on, which was nice of them to do so as they actually went past their turn off, people in the country are normally very nice and helpful.
