Well, who has the better boots?
We all know the genuine (Lemforder) ball joints last almost forever, even without boots and grease, but how are the Delphi ones?
Do their boots actually last?
Pinion and axle tube seals are weeping, so I may as well give the entire front end a birthday

A Delphi balljoint in a front arm on my L322 lasted 9 months. The boot was still intact.

I know KLR Auto use Lemforder in their workshop.

But do have a budget brand at half the price.

Boots on neither Lemforder or Delphi last in Qld, replace the rubber boots with polyboots. I've had some rubber ones crack in 2 years, went polyboots six years ago, and they still look like new.

I'm pretty sure Lemforder now use poly boots.

The boots on new Lemforder arms waiting to be fitted are shiny, not looking like rubber.
