Hi all, long time browser — more active on a separate LR site.
I’m running into a problem and hoping to get some insight from the folks here, as my usual forum has come up empty.
I’m located in California USA, so require emissions testing.
I can’t get my monitors to set despite completing the drive cycles that my nanocom is telling me to complete.
I’ve got a check engine light on, and my nanocom is showing the code
“Air flow to throttle angle cross check fault drive cycle B - occurred <some number> times - fault is currently present”
Based on RAVE, drive cycle B should be:
1 Switch ignition on for 30 seconds .
2 Ensure engine coolant temperature is less than 60 degrees C (140 degrees F) .
3 Start the engine and allow to idle for 2 minutes .
4 Perform 2 light accelerations (0 to 35 mph (0 to 60 km/h) with light pedal pressure).
5 Perform 2 medium accelerations (0 to 45 mph (0 to 70 km/h) with moderate pedal pressure).
6 Perform 2 hard accelerations (0 to 55 mph (0 to 90 km/h) with heavy pedal pressure).
7 Allow engine to idle for 2 minutes .
8 Connect TestBook and with the engine still running, check for fault codes.
However I’ve completed that drive cycle for what feels like a thousand times. All while keeping the fuel level between 1/4 and 3/4 full. And yet my purge test and o2 monitors (the sensor, not the temperature — that one has completed just fine) aren’t setting.
Are there any nanocom experts who might know what’s going on? Could it be that I should be doing a different drive cycle despite it telling me to complete B?
Thanks in advance.
