Could someone please remind me of the name of the additive that kills the algae? Something to do with Maintenance.

The generic term is a biocide. It is not algae. Algae requires light. The microbes are bacteria or fungi.

Get a good supply of fuel filters, because after you have killed the crap it very quickly clogs up the filter.

No, just misused! In the same category as confusion between bacteria (e.g. cholera), parasites (e.g. malaria), viruses (e.g. smallpox) and prions (e.g. scrapie).

Continuing to spread the incorrect information only aids in the slide to idiocracy. We all need to actively fight misinformation.

I agree and thank you for the reminder.
EDIT: For the correct definition of "misinformation".

And their service is exceptional! I emailed to say the pourer on my FTC Decarbonizer was leaking could I buy another, they express posted two replacements and now I discover they are sending me a whole new bottle of the stuff, around $140 worth!

I used chem tech for years but as soon as I put the FTC decarbonizer stuff in there was an immediate and noticeable improvement in smooth acceleration and smoke reduction.
