Hi - has anyone bought one of these TF950 LR v3.0 scanner tools ? I was searching other posts last night about scanner tools, and didn't come across any mention of this tool, but today have just come across it on a few suppliers websites.

I want something like this to use on the V8 Disco2 i have just bought.

If you own or have used one, can you confirm that it really does what it say's it can ? (It even lists an ABS Bleeding function !)

I have also been searching for just such a tool for my Rover 75 but there isn't one - the choices for Rover cars are to use a T4 via a specialist Technician, who are not easy to find in Oz, or download a tool called TOAF which does quite a lot - but not ABS bleeding (which I need!)

Really interested to see whether this WILL work on the Land Rover, and even more interested to see if it might work on the Rover 75 too (....unfortunately not a listed vehicle)

I have 2 of theses I car softs bloody useless they sit in the garage collecting dust the cable was not obd2 compatible. I brought a hawk eye, and I also own a Foxwell the Foxwell works on mutable cars and will do anything a dealer can do if I was to own only one scan tool it would be the Foxwell.

Hi Laney, thanks for the fast response.

I've bought one or two scanners that are collecting dust most of the time too, and I may be being overly optimistic but this one sounds different in that it is specifically listed as being for Land Rover.........

Were either of the units you previously bought one of these LR v3.0 scanners, or were they generic OBD2 icarsoft scanners ?

Cheers
Oldmowgli.

I had Icarsoft LR v2.0 which i dont think is very different, i gave it to a friend with RRS after a while cos for the Td5 was completely unreliable especially with the engine data and fault codes, works well for D3/RRS or newer LRs but for the D2 is a bad joke
