Hi guys hope everyone is well. I have decided to take my self on a holiday next year to New Zealand for 14 days. I just need a break away from every thing, and for my mental heath. Going on coach tour of the south island, New Zealand more on a premium side with max of 20 people. I know I could drive around myself but weighing up the cost for small van /car and fuel meals etc, and me just driving I wouldn't be able to take in the views as much. With this trip I will be seeing a bit more areas that I had not seen when we traveled with family several times. This will be for me the 7 time I have been between both islands and south island. Both Kristopher and Brendon have told me to just book it and go, which I did yesterday. Reading about some area I haven't been to like Doubtful sound, where is is an overnight cruise meals accommodation, you can do kayaking or take a tender of the boat to get closer to the waterfalls etc. Also visiting some Wineries and a beer brewing company. I have Kristopher staying at my place while I am away looking after Mario's carer cat Kitty. I hadn't put any thing up for a while, just to let you know I am trying to move on a bit which is very hard, but taking one day at a time. Bye for now Heather

Go for it Heather, it does us all good to get out of our comfort zone, from time to time. Don't forget your cardie, cold is a step too far out of the comfort zone.
Enjoy and come back with plenty of photos for our enjoyment and yours.

^^^ What he said.
I'm watching my mother go through what you are going through. Different disease, similar time frame and same outcome. Everyone is different and I wish she'd take a little leap like that. A bit of "me" time to help organise the head a little bit (nothing will clear it).
Just know that whatever you do and wherever you go (in the Antipodes anyway) there will be someone near by who you both helped at some point. And there's always a warm hug waiting here.

I know I am going to the classic motorcycle mecca which is in Invercargill, bill Richardson transport world which is also Invercargill, and doing a Tranzalpine journey (Train) from Christchurch to Moana. I am really looking forward to this trip, but a little bit worried about Kitty, hope he doesn't stress out to much that I am not there for him. It has taken him a year and half to stop calling at night for Mario in the hallway. Heather
