The roof lining on my RRS is staring to let go from the backing board.

Can the complete roof lining be purchased or can if be relined by some sort of service provider.

Thanks

Garry

Years ago I had a Mitsubishi Sigma or Magna roof lining replaced by an automotive upholsterer. also known as motor trimmer. that supplied the material.

Lots of posts about relining in D3/4 section, RRS can't be much different.

The problem is the deterioration of the foam backing and adhesive holding the lining to the roof card.
Relining the card is a common job for a motor trimmer.
The roof card can be removed/replaced as a DIY exercise. The challenge is then to get it to the trimmer. I transported it on the roof bars. I spent a deal of time separating the lining and the hardened glue from the card before taking it to the motor trimmer. Trimmers have access to a variety of lining material and can generally find something close to the original....

If your up for it, here is a detailed guide with pictures of a complete head lining replacement. Note, this is for a D1 or D2. they had the raised rear section.
Similar for yours, I've done it twice, tricky by yourself, but not hard to do.
