Anyone know an old school auto elec Perth North of the River?

Looking for an old school establishment that'll do a proper rebuild on a starter motor. Got an unusual one from a 3 pot Yanmar diesel that needs a good going over and I'd rather have the original Japanese one rebuilt than put in a cheap Chinese replacement.

Anyone have a recommendation? We used to have a good one over in Bayswater, but they shut up shop about 5 years ago.

If you can't find such an animal try someone who does rewinds of powertools and electric motors.

All the items that need attention in a starter are the same in the things those folk deal with, apart from the contacts in the solenoid which aren't hard to clean up.
