Hi Everyone

Has anyone tried to replace the foam on their ISRI seats?

There's very little 'spring' left in the seat cushions on my Perentie and I'm very reluctant to pay the money being charged for new seat bases, so I'm wondering if I can replace the foam.

There are replacement foam inserts available for the 110 -

- but I don't know if these will fit the ISRI seats fitted to the Perentie.

If anyone has done this I'd love to know where the foam was sourced from and how difficult a job it was.

Cheers

Tim K

I don't think they had much give/spring new, you might find the covers are brittle, so be careful taking the covers off and back on if you decide to go down the new cushion route, the seats on my FFR Perentie are ripping due to being brittle.

I forgot to add, ask this question on one of the Facebook Perentie sites, seats and seat parts often come up for sale.

I'm still around, been busy with renovating the house, it's been raining, so having some inside time.

My Perentie has one ISRI and one of whatever the brand was, they used.

How are you going mate.

Also, the civilian 110/Defender seats are slightly different.
