Time once again for tyres for the 130 and like everything else, prices have skyrocketed. I switched to 255/85 a few years ago and have been using BFG KM2/KM3 and been very happy with them but they are now around $600 each. The Yokahama geolandar is about 30% cheaper than that. Wondering what experiences people have had with those? I'm not particularly fussed about noise, more about longevity and puncture resistance.

I only have a few thousand k's on my Yoko X-AT 265/75 R16 but they've been great on highway and dirt, rain or shine.

Hi
I have the Yokohama Mt's in 255 85 16 and although I have only had them for a few thousand k's, so far they have been great wet/dry/bitumen/dirt. Quieter than I expected too.

I have a mate with Geolander AT in LT and he has been very happy with them. I had LTNitto Ridge Grapplers on the Triton and after 60,000 (including a lot of off reading and towing - Cape York included)they still have about 20,000 worth on them but are getting a little less grippy in the wet (but still very good). The Nittos are one of the hybrid AT/MT with separate tread blocks and huge gaps for an AT. I had to put new tyres on the front recently due to hitting a huge pot hole in Cape York and not getting that side wheel aligned until the shoulder wear was too great. Now the fronts are wearing LT Falken Wildpeak AT2 and while not quite as aggressive as the Nittos they are wickedly grippy and quiet with great turn in. Cheers

One of my Sons has these on his LC76 in a different size and really likes them.
