Hello all! I’d like to say I’m a long time lurker but I’ve been off the radar for quite a while! We finished up season 3 of touring in the Kimberley last October, and worked our way back to South Australia to check on the house and tenants, as well as local friends. Wifetec took off to the UK to see family in what ended up being a 4 month trip! I decided to revisit our Ex Military Series 2 rebuild as it would be handy to have that on an A Frame behind the truck. Check out Projects and Tutorials for an update!
So, what is our news? We’ve been tour guiding for APT in the Kimberley for 2 seasons, after doing our first season with Kimberley Safari Tours. They were fantastic to us and gave us the knowledge and confidence to transition into the more detailed role with APT. We have been living out of our truck for the past 3 years now, and love the life on the road it allows u to lead.

We’ve crossed the Gibb River Road around 30 times now, as well as regularly seeing Kakadu and Darwin. We’ve also run 5 tours in SA, up to Marree, William Creek, amd across to Birdsville, and recently I ran a 10 day tour in Tasmania. What an amazing place that is. Now we’re getting ready to head North West again for another 20 month stint, so sadly the Land Rover project will come to a halt again! Not for so long this time though.
