I damaged my 95 defender G/Box drain plug when my tailshaft failed recently. Went to order one from (former) Landy dealer (who still handle warranties and parts). They can't get one.
Does anyone have one? It's started to leak more quickly....and the last thing need is ANOTHER leak.
Part no: FRC6145 if that helps.
If anyone has a spare, could I grab it and replace when I get a new one if you need yours back.
I will be offline over the weekend, but if you sms me on 0408820237 I will call you back.
Thanks in advance

LR have 2 in the Caterpillar warehouse in Melbourne if you can't get a replacement elsewhere. A "proper" dealer would have to order one for you though.

Can you use thread tape or sealant on the threads until you get another plug ?

Hi moorey you have British 4wd nearby you down that way, they should have parts like that on the shelf. Matt

Ah yes, Shaun at roverparts, I almost forgot. I'll give him a bell.
Otherwise i'll look into scouses warehouse options.
cheers both

It is probably just a standard pipe thread plug. Take it to a good bolt & nut dealer.
