Hi Gonish - the ZFHP24 in the p38 is very strong and in my opinion a better gearbox. The ZFHP22 in my Discovery is still shifting smoothly and without problems at 480000km - and it is not as strong as the ZFHP24.
I worked in Saudi Arabia in 90- 95.
There was a conversion kit being made here in Australia but it was for the Ford gearbox. I dont think he is doing it anymore - he did a izuzu diesel to Ford Auto and P38 transfer case - it was not successful.
