Hi moderator -where is the best place to warn all aulro members not to use cheap aliexpress or ebay fuses that dont have any datasheets to support their "trip" performance - I had a major melt in a wiring loom of my P38 because of this, and after testing one of these ebay 10amp fuses by shorting across an 18650 Lion battery at 4,2V, I confirmed that it was still intact at 50 amps - whereas an original equipment 10amp fuse from a D2 fusebox instantaneously blew - with same voltage applied. There are youtube videos to back this up. (1006) Bad Fuses - YouTube (https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=apQU_VuJlFU&ab_channel=HamRadioA2Z)
Everyone who is using these fuses in their cars or camping gear need to be warned.
I dont sell fuses or have any affiliation with anyone - just want to warn all AULRO members.
