D4 Touch Screen not responding?

A mate (landyandy for those that remember him here) has had the left side of the touch screen on his MY14 D4 stop responding to touch inputs. The screen itself displays fine (reverse camera etc), just no response when you touch buttons on the screen. Restarting makes no difference.

I can't find anything about this fault on the Web. Does anyone have any ideas for Andy?

I too remember him, was involved in roads IIRC, also can't help as my screen is after market.

Maybe PM Cambo as mentioned in the attached who is the electronics expert on here.
