Good Morning All

I'm chasing some info on what could be causing my D3 to be throwing up random error codes.
My D3 has covered 215,000km's, with 120,000km's issue free (until recently) with myself apart from some minor issues, but recently I changed out my battery as it was picked up during the last service that the battery was on its way out and I had seen a couple codes come up that normally indicate a voltage issue (HDC error code)

My D3, 2006 V6 (4.0ltr) Petrol

I have just carried out a trip up North to Exmouth (Perth based) and unfortunately during this trip the alternator let go. Where I had heard a slight bearing noise on occasion and the battery light would come on occasionally and I had planned to sort this out when I returned to Perth but the alternator had other ideas. I got recovered from out bush back into Exmouth and a cheeky $2,000 later I had the D3 back ($900 for the alternator, ouch!!)

While up north I did use 91 Ron over 95 Ron as it was easier to find at the service stations and the old girl in the past would throw up a crank sensor error code if I used 91 Ron on a regular basis. On one occasion after gunning the old girl from a junction she did cut out shortly after once I had slowed to pull into a service station. I have read on other posts that a EGR valve could cause this issue, but need to be sure what's going on before dropping $500+ for a new one.

Apart from what I have mentioned above the car runs fine when the error codes appears and hence why I am inclined to think there is a voltage signal issue or earth issue that is causing the codes to appear.
Looking for any suggestions or if anyone has came across a similar issue as I'm having currently. I appreciate its near impossible to pin point the exact issue but any suggestions would be appreciated to check out.

Below are some of the codes that are being thrown up. There are other codes that come up, but these are the regular ones.

P0069 - MAP sensor
P0406 - EGR valave
U0155(87) -control module
P0561 - voltage unstable
U0132(87) - suspension ride height
U0416(86) - vehicle dynamics control system
U0101(87) - tranmission control module

You indicated a new battery and alternator have been fitted, Denso is the only alternator for this vehicle. As these vehicle are highly battery and power sensitive have you checked voltages. Make sure terminals are clean and tight and that the earth lead has a good connection at the body. With the engine off battery should show around 12.4 volts, start engine and alternator should show around 14.4 volts at the battery. The battery for the petrol V6 should have around 900 CCA.

I've ordered up an EGR valve as this is the primary error codes I've seeing (MAP/EGR) and I've read a couple posts with similar symptoms to what I'm seeing with my D3.

I'll go and check over the voltages and earth points on the old girl and take it from there.
