Hi everyone,

needless to say this question has been asked before, my understanding is the bolt pattern is the same between the D4 and D5 but what about off set, load ratings etc? I did a quick google search and couldn't find anything so thought I'd harass the combined brains trust here.

Thanks in advance.

Offset and load rating will be the main consideration, if you look at the Tuffant website they have rims to suit a D5 but not sure if they are specific or just a suitable offset that fits d3/4/5.

I don't know if it helps you but I have 19" D5 rims on my L405 that has the big brakes that 19" D4 rims don't fit over. D5 rims have different offsets depending on the rim diameter and width but all D5 rims fit over all D5 brake packages, unlike L494, L405 and L663 rims.

Hi Dale,

thanks for that, given they are D5 20" rims it would appear they have the same off set as my D4 20" rims at 47mm.
