MY2023 requires complete tyre replacement after ~42,000km. Rear tyres significantly showing greater wear (presumably due to towing a 18'7" offroad van for 20,000km around Aus). Have unsuccesfully tried to source All Terrain tyres to suit 21" rims except for Comforser CF1100AT All Terrain but based on cost I doubt they would be much chop.... If anyone has sourced 21R All Terrain tyres your assistance would be appreciated!
Old tyres which came with the vehicle were Pirelli Scorpion Zero. Alternatives I have located on-line are mixed road, semi-offroad & all weather:
Bridgestone Alenza Prestige All Season 275/55 R21 116H
Yokohama Geolandar X-CV G057 275/45 R21 100W
Michelin Pilot Sport SUV 275/45 R21 XL 110Y
Pirelli Scorpion Verde All Season 275/55 R21 116H
Do any issues arise by increasing the profile from 45 to 55?
Thanks,
Pete

275/45 R21 to 275/55 R21 is a 55mm (7.04%) increase which is not allowed by law.
Max allowable increase is +15mm - unless the vehicle is a 4WD when it can be +50mm with the proviso that the 50mm is only the increase over the smallest wheel & tyre combination available for that particular model.

Hey Pete at Gone Gatoring,
What did you end up doing about your 21 inch tyres.
I have a similar problem. Though not just yet. I have done only 8,000 klms on my factory 21 inch Pirelli P Zero 275/45R21, but looking at my tyre placard I can use 20 inch rims and 255/55R20 tyres, and can get a set of secondhand rims for about $1,500. That's the way I will probably go.

I fitted 255/65R19 GG AT3 to 19" D5 rims for my MY21 L405, replacing the original 22". I had used these tyres on my L322 on D4 19" rims so I already knew what they were like. However not much choice in 19" if these tyres don't suit your usage.

Michelin Pilot Sport SUV 275/45 R21 XL 110Y
I run these on my Audi in 265/40-21. If you're after a UHP road only tyre, then this tyre is consistently the benchmark in tyre tests. The SUV variant uses a little more fuel but its got a more rigid carcass than the non-SUV version.
However, they're an ultra high performance road tyre, not an offroad tyre.

No doubt the PS is the on road pick.
I'm about to try the Scorpion MS - which apparently is the successor to the Verde AS ... But Black Friday sale is attractive! We will see
