Hi guys, I am getting sick of these time wasters as I have Mario's boat up for sale. Had it listed about 6 months ago and end up pulling it down due to way low ball offers and no shows, it was like the 1/3 off what I had it for sale I was offered. I have looked around at other boat on the market and gone for the middle price because of the motor and how well Mario looked after it
I have relisted it and had a guy very interested in it wanted to come around and see it that day. I said no as I wanted Devin here, Mario best mate and fishing buddy and lives 3 doors up.He was at work, Devin changed thing so he could be home earlier on the Friday. I get a message from the guy saying that he couldn't make it on that day now.So we made it for Saturday at 10am, no show. I message him at 12pm after me messaging him and he said he just woke up as he said he was sick last night. And then he tells me is it alright to come at 1pm and said that he is looking at another boat in the afternoon. News to me that he was looking at another boat. His stupid offer as 11,000 when he first emailed me about the boat.
The motor is a Mercury 90 4 stroke which is just about brand new. It hasn't been run in yet. Devin said to me that the motor is worth 10,000 second hand. even though it is in show room condition, and probably only has 60hrs on the motor.
I don't know how Mario handle it when he sold his old boat before he got this big 5.5mt 1/2 cab boat, this boat was for his retirement.
Sorry for the rant but it does mess with my mind and feeling.
Hope all you guys have a wonderful Christmas and a very safe New Year. Heather

If it's any consolation Heather, we're having the same problem with Dads Lancruiser. Been on the market since July. A combination of scams, lowballs and dealers. A couple of people tee'd up inspections and then no-showed.

We know it'll sell eventually, but it's getting to the point where we question the effort required to get what it's worth vs just letting it go to a good home for somewhat less.

Any wholesalers interested?

Or what about Pickles? Boats for sale - Pickles AU (https://www.pickles.com.au/used/search/boats)

I recently sold my motorbike with 31K on the clock. It was due for rego, I'd only ridden 10km since last year's rego inspection.

Afte stuffing around with potential buyers, I saw an advert for Australian Motorcycle Wholesalers. I contacted them and, after sending some pix, sold it, payment on pickup. The sale was painless.

Yes, I might have got more on BikeSales but the bike needed a service (it was very hard to start on the first start of the day), it needed registration renewal (expensive here in NSW as it's over 1250cc), both tyres needed to be removed replace the leaking valve stems, plus insurance due.

It appeared on Brisan Motorcycles website at the price I would have advertised it for on BikeSales. It looks like it has been sold.
