what engine ?
anything over about 16.5-17 psi in a Tdi and the head gaskests tend to fail sooner rather than later.

ummmmm if thats your exhaust gas temp gauge, what the hell are you doing to get it to swing so fast? Im guessing that you do know the difference between Nitrogen Oxide and Liquid nitrogen right?

More serioulsy Nice looking fit out but I have some questions...

1. How well can you see it from the normal driving position? (Ive got the Extreme and from my driving pos the Air con controls are a bit of blind mans bluff to use)

2. Any chances of some pics of the plumbing in the engine bay so I can follow the same?

3. For those of you who have em or are considering them, where would you be plumbing the pyrometer into the exhaust or would you recomend the ones with the sensor you just hose clamp onto the pipe?

no the gauge on the left is the EGT, and the one swinging wildly is the boost.
the EGT sensor is after the turbo, just for ease of fitment (yes i know it should be in the manifold yada yada yada!) see pic.
and the boost gauge fitting is welded into the turbo pipe between the turbo and intercooler. hard to see in the pic.

Looks tidy. Have you considered shifting the fuel gauge for the boost gauge?

i can see it alright, it must be my height, not too tall not to short, just right.
i might move it one day, but there are other things to do first:)
