Sorry I missed it.
I spent the day measuring and drawing up a County door frame on AutoCAD in preparation for some major reconstruction work.

Great photos guys... what sort of camera do you have?
You really seem to pick up all the "flicked-up" mud really well... nice and clear.

Nice shots, I didn't know 90's had Rover diffs at the back, I thought they'd have a Salisbury. - I learn something new everyday.

Is the recovery bag (I hope that's what it is) on the back of the D2 available commercially?

Ouch Baz! What are your plans with the CV now? Replace or upgrade?

Thanks for the pictures guys.
Looking at some of those rock ledges, I would have sworn you wouldn't get over, but how wrong I was - just shows the capability of landrovers.
Is the 90 lifted?
I have a 110 and have taken it over some big old rock ledges, but nothing quite like that - in future, maybe I won't drive round them....
Just for us not "in the know", where exactly is Appin?

Mate i haven't got $2500 to spend on CVs so i'll have to just replace, we got a second hand complete unit from a D2 with 37,000ks on it for $300 including axle, so that will have to do for now.
I had a look at Great Basin Rover in the US, which i found through Discoweb.com, they had (i thought) the CV heavy duty inner cage for $250, but it's not for a D2.
EDIT; we got a brand new unit from T.R.Spares for $440
Baz.

Does any one have more info on this..?

nothing to support this in the public domain, no signs ect ect.
still a bit of traffic out there, cars and bikes.

They were saying this 12 years ago when we used to go there in the Zooks.
I have never known of anyone having their vehicle confiscated for driving there.
