Anybody get to see the concert???
Went last nite with Deb.
Brilliant show,110% effort by all the performers.27 or so different bands represented,each singing at least 1 of their hits,2 or 3 or 4 if they were bigger stars.
They managed to keep Molly off the ****.
The final bracket of songs was to salute the Countdown era stars that are no longer hear,the whole cast got on stage together,and sang a hit from Shirley Straun,Ted Mulray and finished up with a Bonn Scott tribute.BLEW ME AWAY.

Hi Discomaniac
If your parking is anything like Perths get there early.They delayed the start of the show a bit because of the gridlock outside but had to go one with only 2/3rds of the crowd in as its a huge show.Many peeded off punters.
We stayed in Perth got a taxi,had dinner and plenty of pints of guiness(well I did) at the casino first and missed all the parking probs.
Hope I didnt give too much away,the show is huge,a top nite out.They have a 3xCD countdown collection for $35 TOP VALUE,$40 for the DVD.

Would have love to have gone, but with new job and all was not going to happen.
Will have to keep an eye out in the shops for the DVD.
Home for a few days at present with another trailer load down to Esperance on Monday.

Been to plenty of big shows at the Brisbane Entertainment Centre before, so know the deal with parking etc. Good to get there early, relaxing beer and all before the show. And no, you haven't given too much away.
