For the interest of anyone looking for an early Series 1, I found the following in the current (14/9) Land newspaper:-
"1952 Land Rover model with spares"
this is listed for a clearing sale at Mullaley in NSW (West of Gunnedah) next Saturday 23/9. For details either get a copy of the Land (P26) or PM me and I will post them. I won't get there myself - I'm expecting visitors.
My experience is that Landrovers usually sell fairly cheaply at clearing sales, although all it takes is two enthusiasts both determined to get it!
