What a great little thing, works a treat. Had it inside 3m from the window and it still picked up satilites.
Well worth the $30.
Now I just have to find a touch screen monitor for the right price and work out how to mount it all in the rangie.
This is the same as the one I got

$30:eek: ?!!
The best deal I managed to get was $98 shipped. I was also amazed, I managed to pick up nine satellites indoors! I am also looking for touch screen monitors, 7" would be preferable. Best price so far is ~300.

Took me 9 auctions to get it at that price  I've seen touch screens as low as $199. When I can get one for $150 i'll get one.

There are now 10" touch screens available on ebay for around $300. Very tempted. IMO, 7" is too small to be all that useful, particularly when trying to plan ahead on maps. Plus native resolution at that size is only 640 x 480. The 10" has a native resolution of 800 x 600 and scales well to 1024 x 768.

Yeah I was thinking 8", 10 might be a touch too big for where I want to put it.
