I know many LR people are also lovers of old motor bikes. Don't forget that the Historic Motor Cycle Club is hosting the Gatton Swap Meet at Gatton Showgrounds, Qld. on Friday, 27th. Oct. & Saturday 28th. Oct. Gatton has grown to be the biggest & best motor cycle swap meet & biker gathering in Australia. Gates open Friday 7.30am. Camping permitted, security on site, hot showers, catering from snacks to sit down meals. Some people arrive on Thursday (not approved) and make a weekend of it. Humungous amounts of good gear on display and for sale. The Phil Irving Concours is held on Saturday afternoon in the main buildng. A very social event, bikers mean rum and beer. Visitors have been to my site from as far as Katherine, Adelaide, and Noo Zulannt. Look for the White over Masai Red County-Isuzu wagon. Stop for a beer or a Bushmills or akvavit.

Thanks for that Brian, I'm looking for parts for a 1972 build Harley X90.

For those in NSW, there is a vintage bike rally in Parkes on the long weekend.

I'd like to bring my old BMW along, but it's a stretch too far away, I'm afraid. Thanks for the invitation, though, we'll have the beer/Black Bush/schnaps another time!
Cheers

Mate not to be insulting, but IMHO you might as well buy a Suzuki X90.

I didn't say it was pretty Vlad, just pretty rare, but thanks for the photos, they're very helpful - it's a project - got it for not much in 1973. Fun for the kids tho', 90ccs, 4 sp box and reasonable suspension - it was even street legal when it came to me.

Cheers, GQ

No worries.

How come the X90 doesn;t appear in your signature line ?

Thanks Vlad; but I'd have to admit to a few other, err, curios, from the automotive past...
