View Full Version : Cops must develop a sixth sense

Tonight at work, there were a number of female coppers out on the platform outside my signal box. Then yet another turned up but she came inside for a chat - she was a honey, too!

It seems she was normally plainclothes doing criminal investigation work but tonight was doing some uniform duties.

After chatting for about 10 mins, she left. As she did so she stopped a bloke on the platform as he came out of the mens' toilet. I hadn't closed the door so I was able to hear some of the exchanges with this person.

Dunno how she knew, but it seemed this bloke was known to the police (she had done some quick radio queries whilst with him) despite him protesting he'd never been arrested for graffiti work and that he was only on the platform to go to the toilet. A few more coppers arrived and escorted him away.

I've been told by other cops at work that they can pick them. These blokes must give themselves away with body language.

I would believe that. It's probably like when a teacher looks at a kid and just knows that what ever he's done, its the wrong thing. And its also amazing how often they admit it! :lol2:

Ask her out!
Marry her!
If she has that 6th sense she will know when you are hungry, thirsty, need the p38 serviced etc:twisted:
That's too good to pass up:)
And she will carry a gun, oh I love women with guns, handcuffs and mace:angel:

Hey, if you don't ask her out can I?:p

It wasn't a permanent marker in my pocket - I was just happy to see her! :)

Paint spots on his shoes?
Ink on his hands?
A faint rattle coming from his backpack perhaps?

Or maybe she just got lucky.

Me or the other bloke? :D

Actually, he didn't have a backpack but he was searched anyway.

A lot of the taggers are known to the station staff - but the magistrates just seem to let them off.

Graffiti vandals really annoy me especially the ones who just tag or have no art talent. Some does look good, but not on someones private fence or wall. About time these magistrates started making these so and so's clean up their mess and compensate people / businesses for the damage. Most attempts at getting graffitti artists to work in controlled area have failed, not the same as doing it illegally apparently.
I cam across some school kids a few weeks ago in a shop looking at spray paint aerosols in a shop, now they were either going to graffiti or sniff it, so I had a few words to say and they put it back and left. Sad to say but I would rather them graffitti than haze it.

Thank goodness she let me go - without even a strip search!

I dont want to start a debate over graffiti and wether it's right or wrong but I think the majority of the public really have no understanding of the sub culture. It always seems to be "I like the colourfull stuff but not the scribble" type comments. The two are very closley related and both have a place in the whole scheme of graffiti culture. People who do the "big colourful" pieces also do the tags and throw ups that everyone despises.

The main goal for any serious graffiti writer is to get his/her "name" up as much as possible, wether it be through tagging or doing big colourful stuff.

I really hope I haven't started something here.:D

You have to be over 18 to buy the stuff around here, how many of these shops actually ask for ID i dont know but all the spray cans in the warehouse are actually locked in a secure cabinet. matt

It's still vandalism when done to someone else's property without the property owner's permission.

Do you think they'd mind if I tagged their clothes, car, or house?

Ron

Correct. Without permission it is vandalism.

Would they mind if you went out tagging their stuff??? I have no idea. Most writers don't have a car or a house that early in life.:D
