"Why do you siccos want to see this video anyway?"
... because I didn't like Steve or his antics (I thought he was a twit and I was embarrased by his antics whilst overseas), and would love to see nature get it's come-uppance.
Having said that I did appreciate his conservation efforts, and for that I tip my hat.
R.I.P. Steve.

I was never a fan of the man nor am I a fan of AJ...
But I am a fan of this place and it's good people...
Having an opinion and expressing it is not a right but something earned and expressed with sensitivity to the context/forum in which the opinion is expressed.
Some of the opinions expressed above are out of order in this context.
Moderation in all things (including moderation). Self moderation is best: may I ask people to consider the potential impacts before being so strident in their views?
Temperance he says whilst pouring another glass of red

You are right... I misinterpreted A J as Alan Jones.
Your forebears earned the right as did mine..and strangely enough mine were very quiet and reluctant to express their opinions.
But this forum is not a battlefield

Tony, I completely agree with you, but with spelling like this Ron would get a ........... (better make it two GUINNESS' it won't make you spell any better but after two pints you won't care anyway)
I looked at it, not really my cup of tea the faces of death Shyte but out of curiousity I looked to see how sick my closest AULRO neighbour really is. It shows nothing, but as Tony pointed out it's my right to voice my opinion thanks to all the brave who fought in war time for our rights, not the ones who sit on their bums and winge about rights.
Yabbie (Mr Spoon), if there was a sign saying H2so4 do not walk in this vat, mate take advice and don't do it. You don't need to push every boundary there is
Do You?

Respectfully,
Mahn I was fully intending my last post on this subject to be the last post but your "stangely enough mine were very quiet and reluctant to express their opinions" has forced me to engage the services of my very own typist (Dobbo, she can spell).
Mahn, you will find all the old returned soldiers from the major wars are all reluctant to discuss those times. The reasons for this are twofold.
1. The upbringings of the men and women who served in both major world wars is totally different from ours, they were taught to grin and bear it, have a cup of tea, and get on with it.
2. They also were not vilified by the people.
The sheeple of today have no respect for their armed forces, for the job they do, and for the protection they are afforded by them.
Therefore I am not very quiet when something gets my goat. As I believe, I have earned the right to voice my opinion, on any subject matter that I have an opinion on. Although this does not happen very often, I get very annoyed when sheeple who have no idea about life because they are so closeted and so far away from the real world, blabber on, denegrade people they have never even met.
Although it is their right to express that opinion, they shouldn't get upset when someone else expresses different.
Mahn, this will definitely be my last post on this subject, because as I said, it's your right to express any opinion you feel the need to, accept it is my right to refute your sheeple view.

Funny, because you haven't accorded the same respect to us as you quote above in that you seemed to get rather upset when we expressed our opinion instead of accepting and tolerating us for the opinion it is our right to have.
.. and calling people "sheeple" does nothing to forwad your case either.
I do not know if the original rant was because I expressed my dislike for the man, however it is my right to be able to have and express my own opinion - as it is your right to rebuke it.
Lots of people over the past few days have expressed their opinions opposite to mine and I said nothing because they are allowed their own opinion. I was not expecting to be flamed for expressing my own opinion purely because it is different to that of others.
A few little quotes I live by:
Everything in moderation - even moderation.
The only thing I won't tolerate is intolerance.
I'm sure as life goes on I will stumble across more, however if we don't / can't / won't tolerate other viewpoints then we will never stop fighting, and we will continually breed racism and contempt for others within our own society which - as we are seeing even now - is causing more disruption and terror than any country.
The same rule applies to everyone. If you wish to live in any country (especially Australia, even if you are Australian) then you must accept and tolerate other people's viewpoints, whether or not they agree with your own. Expecting people not to get upset when they get roused on for expressing their own opinion is like expecting a child not to get scared when you jump out behind it and shout "BOO".
I may be idealistic, but I wish people would just learn to tolerate other people and their ideas - even when it makes your own blood boil. If that were so then (in my probably overly-simplistic idealistic world) a great deal of our troubles would be over and everyone would get on with their lives (somewhat) peacefully.
Hitherto I have been silent, now I have spoken.

Remember people that this is AULRO...a place where we come together as friends..this is not a place to "grind personal axes"..those places exist elsewhere.
My comments are written with my moderator's hat on...and the finger is not on the "delete this thread" button...yet

Why whats wrong with a vat of Sulphric acid?
Never hurt anyone........for long:twisted:
The thing about boundaries is that unless you push against them once in a while you forget where they are.
Everyone pushes boundaries everyday in some way or another, even you "MR Dobbo".
As for the tittle "Mr Spoon" I prefer "Mr W.Spoon" :D :D

In retrospect I should have (as I usual do) keep stum, blame the Guinness
because as usually people are not able to hold any form of debate that questions there own mind set.or the general view of the world as portrayed by the governments & government sponsored media

This is really childish....
Mahn -- excellent piece of moderation.
Tony -- your reference to 'sheeple' and then stating that people cannot debate because they have somehow become brainwashed by the Government is offensive and disrespectful of other 'free thinking' people here.
Jason -- you are a bloody stirrer:).
I will be following Tony's earlier threats and not posting on this one again.
Now in the spirit of temperance I will go av anothe gunnisse and will say no more on this
Mahn, this will definitely be my last post on this subject:D

Since you all have been waiting on my opinion on this topic, I find that there are two methodologys that one should apply to life to avoid all this unnecessary tension, they are as follows;
1. Sticks and stones may break my bones but whips and chains excite me.
2. An ill wind gathers no moss.
There, that should clear it all up.
