Hello everyone,

Just a post to share our great news: Alistair has been released! Passed customs and more importantly, Aqis successfully. Aqis official said Alistair was "the cleanest car he ever saw", which is an accomplishment we are very proud of. Having litteraly cleaned it with a toothbrush - actually we killed several - , we are very happy to see our efforts thus acknowledged.

On Monday, Robert will complete the registration procedure with MRV and after that, the show will be ready to hit the road! As some of you might have followed, Alistair is now officially... a campervan, at least in regards to insurance. Just don't call it that in its face when we meet, OK? We don't want to risk hurting its feelings, do we?

Thank you again to those of you who kindly gave us their useful advice and thanks to so many of you for the support. it is greatly appreciated! What a marvellous demonstration of Aussie hospitality you guys gave us!!

See you on the road. And yes, we were properly trained: we never fail to say hello to fellow Landies!

Martine and Robert

Excellent news Martine. Your photo of you cleaning Alistair with those toothbrushes tells the story! :)

Great to see Robert out and about. What does he think of Aussie Land Rovers? Even as passenger - because he's in the left-hand seat he'd still think he was driving!

Cheers
Chris
