View Full Version : Beerwah SF reccee 7th October (SAT)

G'day,

For the reccee I need 2 people who will be on the trip so we can spread the convoy out (ie- in case of a 'convoy procidure' malfunction sort of thing). Only need 2 vehicles to assist and if you don't mind a bit of scouting around as I plan to finsd some more areas bar the powerline track if we get time on the trip (not likely with 11 vehicles, but I like to have a contingency plan).

You WILL need your permit and should have them by now if you posted it off when the trip thread was put up. Also someone with a GPS would be good to have as we can 'map' the area (I'm too poor to get one ATM :( )

Please let me know. It will be a full day out and I chose Sat as Sun might end up being a bit pushy.

I have the day off so If you would like another for a Recce just PM me with the time and place to meet.
If there are two many for the trip and some need to take an easyer way around a difficault section I will put Up my hand to lead them around for you.
I dont realy what to miss the tough stuff though. ;)

No worries Craig, you're on the list. I will be sending both Mick and yourself a PM prior to the trip.

There's only 2 really hard sections (even I had trouble with one of them) most can be done in your rig.

Yep, still going up......shall we say BP Commera at 6.30am....coffee, Mcsausage, Red bull and we're off? BP Coomera north side is about a 1.5 hours from the coast.
